1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use the Hogaro app, the Hogaro web app or this website. Hogaro is provided by Santiago Fernández (“we”). By creating an account you accept these terms and our privacy policy.

2. Pilot service

Hogaro is in an invite-only pilot. Features may change, be unavailable or stop working, and we may reset the pilot after warning testers. Keep your own backup of anything important; the app can export one.

3. Price

Hogaro is free during the pilot. If we introduce paid features later, we will explain them before you are charged, and you will keep access to the data you already have.

4. Your account

• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
• You can delete your account at any time; see Delete your Hogaro account.

5. Shared pantries

• When you join a pantry, its admins decide who else is a member and what each member can change. Admins can remove members and permanently delete the pantry, including its history.
• Only invite people you know and want to share with. Everything you add to a shared pantry is visible to its members.

6. Food information is guidance only

• Dates, reminders, nutrition values and recipe suggestions help you organize your kitchen. They are not food safety, medical or dietary advice.
• Nutrition values are approximate reference values, not measurements of your food. Hogaro does not check allergens or ingredients for allergies or intolerances.
• Always check the packaging, the food itself and your own needs before you eat it.

7. Your content

The pantry data, lists and recipes you add remain yours. You allow us to store and process them only to provide Hogaro to you and the members of pantries you share. Only import recipes you are allowed to use; imported recipes stay on your device.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use Hogaro to break the law, harass people, send unwanted invitations, overload or attack the service, or access accounts or pantries that aren't yours. We may suspend accounts that do.

9. Liability

We work to keep Hogaro reliable and your data safe, but we provide the pilot as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law that applies to you, or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Hogaro and delete your account at any time. We may end the pilot or close the service; if we do, we will tell you in advance where possible so you can export your data.

11. Changes

We will update the date above when these terms change and let you know before significant changes take effect.

12. Applicable law and contact

Spanish law applies to these terms. If you use Hogaro as a consumer, you keep the protections of the law of your country of residence and can bring a claim before your local courts. Questions: support@hogaro.app.
